Rank LinkedIn Brand Advocates in Google Sheets
Use EmbedSocial’s LinkedIn brand advocate agent to find the people who already champion your company on LinkedIn and rank them by mention frequency, consistency, and sentiment.
One connection. Runs on your live EmbedSocial data.
What does it do?
Connect EmbedSocial with Claude and Google Sheets to create an agent that pulls LinkedIn posts mentioning your company page and groups them by author. The agent ranks each author by number of mentions, consistency, and sentiment. It sorts authors into advocate tiers and exports the ranked list into a spreadsheet.
Useful for
- Finding your biggest champions: customers, partners, and employees who mention you most;
- Building advocacy and referral programs: start with people who already promote you for free;
- Finding social proof to reuse: each advocate’s top posts are linked and ready for testimonial requests.
How to rank LinkedIn Brand Advocates in Google Sheets
- Create your EmbedSocial account. Sign up for a free EmbedSocial trial to connect LinkedIn and turn on the MCP.
- Connect your LinkedIn company page and add mentions as a source. EmbedSocial will collect posts that mention your page.
- Let the widget collect posts. Give it at least a few weeks so repeat authors show up in the data.
- Connect Google Sheets in your AI tool. Enable the separate Google Sheets connector in Claude on the web or Claude Desktop to create and edit spreadsheets. Google Drive alone does not provide these editing tools. Authenticate with a Google account that can access the target sheet. Team and Enterprise owners must enable connectors for their organization.
- Set up the EmbedSocial MCP in Claude. Paste the MCP URL into Claude and authorize access with your EmbedSocial account. Use a Claude environment that supports the connected tools required below.
- Run the prompt. Ask your AI tool to rank your brand advocates and export the results into Google Sheets.
Note: Depending on the connectors you are using, you may be prompted to authenticate your platform connections by logging into your accounts. Always ask authors for permission before you reuse their posts. LinkedIn tracking covers the connected company Page and its collected mentions only. It does not cover personal profiles or LinkedIn-wide keyword searches.
Real-world use case
Imagine you’re launching a customer advocacy program and need to know who already talks about you. Instead of scrolling months of LinkedIn notifications, you ask Claude:
Using the EmbedSocial MCP, pull LinkedIn mentions of our company page from [widget] for the last [90] days. Group the posts by author and rank each author by number of mentions, number of active weeks, and average sentiment. Sort them into three tiers: top advocates, rising advocates, and one-time mentioners. Export the results into Google Sheets with a ranked advocates tab, a top posts tab with links, and a raw data tab.
Your AI tool groups the mentions by author, scores each one, and builds a ranked advocate list ready for your community or partnerships team.
Prefer to build this into your own app instead of running it from a prompt? The same posts, mentions, reviews and widget analytics are available through the social media API.
