Does TikTok have an MCP server?

Yes, but only for ads. TikTok announced the TikTok for Business MCP Server in May 2026, and it connects AI agents to the TikTok Ads platform: campaigns, bids, budgets, targeting and ad reporting. It does not read your organic videos or the creators who mention your brand.

Is there an official TikTok MCP server?
Only for ads. TikTok's TikTok for Business MCP Server, announced in May 2026, connects AI agents to the TikTok Ads platform for campaigns, budgets, targeting and ad reporting. It doesn't read organic videos or brand mentions. EmbedSocial is a hosted, no-code TikTok MCP for that organic content, and it connects the TikTok sources in your EmbedSocial account to any MCP-compatible AI tool.
What is the TikTok MCP server URL?

Which AI tools work with the TikTok MCP?
Any tool that can add a remote MCP server: Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor and others. If a tool supports custom MCP servers, it can connect to your EmbedSocial TikTok data.
Can the TikTok MCP track hashtags?
No. TikTok's API doesn't allow hashtag sources. The workaround is to add each video you want by its link as a TikTok Video source, or track the creators who tag your brand through Mentions.
Is there a public API available for TikTok?
Yes. TikTok offers the Display API for your own account's videos and the Research API for approved researchers, and both require a developer app and review. EmbedSocial uses TikTok's official API to collect your sources, so you get the data without running the integration yourself. Developers who want it in their own product can use the TikTok API from EmbedSocial.
Do I need to code anything?
No. You connect your TikTok account, videos or mentions in EmbedSocial, paste one URL into your AI tool and sign in. EmbedSocial hosts and maintains the server.
Is my TikTok data secure when connected via MCP?
