Widget Not Showing on My Site

Thank you for your question. If you already have an account on EmbedSocial and have created and embedded your widgets, please read the article below to find a possible reason why the buttons or posts are not clickable on your website.

You've created a widget, and on the editor within your EmbedSocial account, the buttons and posts are clickable. However, they're not clickable on your website. The most common reason for this is the iframe code.

If you embedded the widget on your website using iframe code, that's likely the reason why the buttons or posts are not clickable.

To make the buttons and posts clickable, you can use the HTML code as shown in the screenshot below:

Widget not showing on Squarespace

If your reviews widget is not showing up on your Squarespace page, but when you refresh the page they do show up, then you need to disable Ajax loading.

To disable Ajax loading follow the instructions below:

1\. Open your Squarespace website, and click on Design on the menu on the left:

2\. Click on Site Styles:

3\. And the last step is to go to SITE:LOADING and disable Ajax Loading:

Widgets missing after reactivation

Thank you for posting this question! If you have re-activated your subscription again and the widgets are not shown on your website, the reason might be:

1\. The widget code is removed from your pages

Please make sure to check if your widgets are still embedded on the page where the widgets should appear.

2\. Check the status of the widget inside your EmbedSocial account

Another reason why the widgets are still not shown on your website might be the status of the widget inside EmbedSocial, if it is 'Disabled' the widgets won't be shown on your website. For the widgets to be shown again you just need to navigate to the 'Widgets' tab and enable the setting next to the widget:

3\. Wait a few minutes for the changes to be replicated live

If everything is fine with the first two suggestions, the most common reason is that the changes have not been replicated yet due to caching. It may take a few minutes for the changes to be visible live.
