If your newest reviews are pulled inside your EmbedSocial account but not shown inside your widget, then the most common reasons are:
1. If you have disabled the setting for adding the posts automatically
In order to check if the 'Auto add new posts' is disabled you will need to:
- Open the desired widget and under 'General' settings check if the setting for 'Auto add new posts' is disabled:
Please note that if this setting is disabled, the reviews will continue to update but not on the live version of the widget embedded in your website. They will be updated in the 'Moderate' tab inside your widget to inside the 'All Reviews' section.
- In order to enable them you will need to go to the 'Moderation' tab inside the widget and enable the reviews you would like to be shown on the widget:
If you would like for the new reviews to be shown automatically moving forward, you can just enable the setting 'Auto add new posts'
2. Check if you have added some specific filters to your widget
If you have added any filters on your widget such as filter by tags, filter by keywords, order by rating, etc - this might be another reason why your newest reviews are not shown at all on the widget or are not shown as the latest ones:
